I was impressed with the welcome/courtesy shown on arrival even although we arrived after midnight. The following morning we were helped with transort arrangements to Glasgow.
I think management have to clear up the confusion for clients where two names are used for the Hotel ie Prestwick Old Course and North Beach.
Comfortable, good views and relaxing
Pleasant and obliging staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Good breakfast
Needed new carpet and shampoos in the bedroom
Good view over the old golf course with Prestwick airport on the other side (no airplane noise however). Near railway station, Prestwick high street and just a couple of mins from the seafront. Very good rates over the Internet. Old style hotel probably very posh in its day, with very friendly Kenyan staff. Indian restaurant on site, but we didn't use it. Good breakfast from 7.45 - 9.00
it was clean and tidy served a purpose and was near the airport where we were flying to sweeden
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, and the view from the bedroom window at the front of the hotel was great.
The only comment we would make is that the mattress in the room we had 22.8.10 was rather thin.
Breakfast was poor. Although there was a choice of juices and cereal the actual cooked breakfast was bacon and eggs. No additional items and no choice of type of egg which was ,I felt, a bit poor.
It was only an overnight stop and the hotel suited that purpose
Easy access from Glasgow and to Prestwick A/port.
It's close to Prestwick Airport, easy to find
i liked the friendliness of the staff
the water at tap was not hot, the room was not as warm as i would have liked for the cold weather especially near large window, had to ask to put on heating in bathroom and to know how to get hot water in shower, the early continental breakfast was poor with chocolate filled patisserie which did not deserve the price paid for the breakfast included in the price. perhaps the cooked breakfast would have been worth it. i think there should be a discount when one has a continental breakfast.
Close to the airport and very good price.
It was just an overnight stay between flights, therefore I cannot comment on all facilities of this hotel. It is close to the airport, however, it seemed too far to walk. We took taxi and it was 3 minutes ride as expected (taxi costs approx 4 pounds). The room was clean and beds were soft, we had also a possibility to make a tea and coffee in the room. Quiet and pleasant stay.
The shower was confusing. But, as we stayed there just a couple of hours, it was not a big deal.
The staff member( tony) was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very old fashioned and more suited to a single person.
It was friendly hotel with a lovely room and breakfast
